P2P (Peer-to-Peer) Trading

Quick definition

Buying or selling crypto directly with another person, with the platform holding funds in escrow.

On a P2P marketplace, you trade with another verified user: they pay you by bank transfer or e-wallet in your local currency while the platform locks the crypto in escrow until payment is confirmed.

P2P is the main on/off-ramp in markets where bank-card purchases aren't available โ€” including China and Vietnam. Stick to high-reputation counterparties and never release crypto before money is in your own account.
