How we check the information you see on this site
When we show a fee, signup link, availability note or safety claim, we try to answer a simple question: what can a buyer reasonably verify before they act? We prefer direct sources, show review dates where practical and tell you when something still needs to be confirmed on the exchange.

What we check before we publish
Can you use it?
We look for current provider information about country access, account requirements and product restrictions. Because eligibility can change by country and account type, the exchange remains the final source before signup.
What might it cost?
We check published trading fees and explain that payment fees, spread, currency conversion and Bitcoin withdrawal costs can change the amount you actually receive.
How can you pay?
We look at the funding methods the provider publishes, along with important limits or conditions we can verify. Your available methods can still differ by location and account.
What should you be careful about?
We review published security controls, custody model, withdrawal protections and known limitations without turning them into a blanket promise that an exchange is safe for everyone.
Is the information still current?
Changing facts carry review dates where practical. If evidence is old, incomplete or conflicts with the provider's current page, the current provider information should win.
Where the information comes from
For facts that can change, we prefer the exchange's own documentation and fee pages, regulator or government material when relevant, and primary Bitcoin/network data sources. We do not say we personally tested a process when our evidence is only documentary. Read our source policy.
What “last checked” means
A review date tells you when we last checked a changing fact; it does not freeze that fact in time. If the exchange currently shows a different fee, rule or offer, use the current exchange information and tell us about the difference. Read the freshness policy.
How affiliate links affect the site
Some signup links can pay us a commission. We label those links. Payment does not buy a higher position, a better review or a promise that the exchange is suitable for you. Read the affiliate policy.
What we cannot decide for you
We cannot know whether an exchange is currently available for your exact account, whether a promotion will apply to you, or whether buying Bitcoin is appropriate for your finances. Those are the parts you must confirm before you act. If we find an error, we correct it rather than hiding it. Read the corrections policy.
